What is the Savannah Area Good Corporate Citizen Project? It is a business resource to advance and encourage good corporate citizenship. This website compiles best practices, ideas, benefits to employers when engaging in good corporate citizenship and provides a space to share stories of ways our local businesses are leading the way.
This resource was created by the Savannah Economic Development Authority with input from many community members, business leaders and non-profits. The Savannah Economic Development Authority’s core mission is to help create new job opportunities and investment for the Savannah region. While we are not the experts in good corporate citizenship topics, and there are many more things that could be added to these lists, we hope this tool can be used to inspire new ideas and initiatives within your company and help new businesses understand the values we hold as a community to give back, be inclusive, pay living wages, develop our current and future workforce, cultivate healthier workplaces and be good stewards of our environment. We hope you will take the Pledge and join us in these efforts.
